Yoga Tea

Exercise and yoga???
Is it ok to drink water or milk or tea and do yoga or exerise in the mng.
Plz reply separately that what can ieat before yoga and exercise.
Ideally, you should do yoga on a nearly empty stomach.
The reason is that you need your blood to be free to go to the different parts of the body during yoga.
When you eat, your blood focuses more on the stomach area and digestion, and is not available to travel to all other parts of the body in the volume that it would otherwise.
I believe it is fine to have some hot tea and water before your yoga, but refrain from milk, as it is counted as a solid.
The same should be true of exercise as well. You want to wait at least 2 or 3 hrs after eating before exercising, although if you have no choice, then by all means don’t skip the exercise or yoga. Your body needs it, it just won’t get the full benefit that it would otherwise. That’s better than none at all though!
