Whistler Teapot

My teapot ceased whistling. Can I get a replacement whistle?
It was being cleaned and I think something got unscrewed or unconnected. Now I keep forgetting about it until nearly all the water is evaporated.
What’s that thing called that covers the spout? Can I get a replacement one anywhere? The teapot was bought at a garage sale and look similar to this: http://www.calumetcopper.com/store/display_item.php?PHPSESSID=597b218c156c6112ba3cd003e8062df1&nItemID=2303
Are there any other options on getting it a whistler? I sort of am I thinking I’ve seen some bird-looking thing that you put on your teapot that makes it whistle… but maybe I’m imagining it.
You are not mistaken. I have seen whistler-stoppers that look like birds. Look for them in a kitchen store.
