Tea And Kitchen Play Sets: The Perfect Gift For Your Little Ones
One of the best memories anyone can have of their childhood is that of spending time with friends playing house. This activity is a very good way of encouraging children to use their imagination, and it can indeed be very exciting and enjoyable for them, especially if they have their very own tea and kitchen sets to play with. Children’s tea sets and kitchen sets are indeed the perfect toys to use in role-playing games.
Tea sets are especially popular with little girls. In fact, it has become a classic toy and has been the perfect gift for little girls in every generation. Your little girl could practice her social skills and master proper etiquette by playing hostess at tea time with her dolls and teddy bears; or, you could use this as the perfect bonding activity by letting her play hostess to the rest of the family. The good thing is that there are several kinds of tea sets that you can choose from when you buy one as a gift to your child.
The variety of children’s tea sets can range from wood to plastic to porcelain. There are even vintage-inspired tea sets that are reminiscent of the time when they were made solely for the use of royalty. Wooden tea sets are perfect for younger children as well as those who are accident-prone because they are very sturdy and unbreakable. For older children, porcelain tea sets with vintage-inspired patterns can be perfect accessories for a truly memorable birthday party. It can even be turned into a very attractive piece of room decor once your little girl becomes too old for role-playing games.
While children’s tea sets are more of a little girl’s toy, play kitchens can be good toys for both boys and girls. After all, some of the world’s best chefs come from the male population! The choices for play kitchen sets can be quite endless. There are kitchen sets that come complete with utensils, pans, and a kettle. There are also those that come with breakfast foods, a fruit and vegetable set, or a sandwich set. Still others include a baking set and a food set with all food groups represented.
If you want your children’s role-playing activity to be both fun and educational, it may be best to give them a complete collection of kitchen sets. This way, they will learn not only the basics of cooking and baking, but more importantly, the value of proper nutrition. Take note, though, that there are a few things you need to consider when choosing a tea or kitchen set for your child.
First of all, remember that these products constitute a choking hazard, so you should only buy them for children aged three and up. You also have to make sure that you buy sets that are made with safe materials like latex-free rubber trees (for wooden sets) or poly-porcelain. Finally, you need to check the product description carefully because not all children’s tea sets and kitchen sets are meant to hold liquids, whether hot or cold. Most of these sets are for pretend play purposes only and should not be used for any other purpose.
