How can I clean mold off of wire mesh?
I left tea leaves in my teavana tea pot and it molded. The teapot has a wire mesh strainer at the bottom. I have tried using a scrub brush by there is a piece of plastic in the middle of the teapot. Any one know of a way I can clean it?
You have a couple of choices. You can mix 2 tsp of tea tree oil with 2 cups of water pour it in the pot and let it soak the mold away. Or you can mix 20 drops of grapefruit seed extract with 2 cups of water and do the same thing. Or my favorite method, pour straight white vinegar in there and let it soak. Just be sure to wash the pot out afterward and let it dry really well.
