Tea Tree Oil Shampoo Dandruff

How to use tea tree oil to cure a dry scalp? (dandruff)?
I heard that you can and I am going to use Paul Mitchel shampoo with it. So do I mix it in with my shampoo or do I just apply it to my scalp? Help please?
Apply after shampooing. Use just a little. Apply it directly to your scalp, massage, and do not rinse. A little goes a long way.
