Tea Lights Battery Operated

For my wedding reception, should I use flickering or non-flickering tea lights?
Wedding reception will be in a nice room at a local hotel. Fairly small, less than 50 people. Planning to use a centerpiece that is tall and above eye level when seated, and fill it with battery operated tea lights. Has anyone used the flickering ones (real candle effect) and gotten any feed back as to whether they are okay or annoying? I can also go with just the stationary light. Any experience with the flickering variety would be helpful though. Thanks.
If there is any possibility that a guest at your ceremony is an epileptic in whom the flickering might cause a seizure, avoid flickering tea lights. The flickering doesn’t actually replicate a real candle very effectively. Where there is no breeze or candles are in a chimney flames burn straight and steady and don’t flicker, so there would be minimal flickering if you used real candles indoors.
