What shoes should i wear with my prom dress?

I don’t know what kind of shoes or what color shoes i should wear w/ my prom dress. It’s tea-length, white, A-line, w/ embelishment. This is a picture of it at

A nice pair of strappy white heels would look gorgeous with that dress.

To pull the look off you will need to be confident, there is nothing worse than seeing a perfect outfit only to see the gal stumbling in her heels. All it does is takes the focus off the look to the stumbling gait.

What I would suggest is go for a 2 to 2.5 in heel, they are not too hard to walk in and you should be able to get used to them fairly quickly. I would look at a skinny heel, they will be slightly harder to walk in but will give a lot better line to the outfit (they will appear higher).

Get the shoes as soon as possible to get practice and confidence in walking in them. When you try them on walk around in the store for a while to make sure they are comfortable and that you will be able to walk in them given the time to the prom. Then wear them at home, the more time the better. Once you are confident at home, practice outside on pavements, up and down stairs etc. This will be very different to walking on carpet at home.

Remember, while wearing them at all times smile.

Addition:
Don’t go for a mule, make sure that there is some support for the heel. It will make them much easier to walk in
