what do I do with a kettle I just purchased on eBay used?

Everything looked fine and functioned fine except where you pour water out, inside is rusted out a little. I am afraid it will continue to rust and I will be drinking rusty water every time I use it? COPCO 2.5 QT WHITE ENAMEL WHISTLING TEA KETTLE

You probably need to contact the seller about a refund. If it said it was in good shape or failed to mention the rust it has been misrepresented. This could be a legit oversight on the seller. Be polite. Don’t threaten with negative feedback or anything. Just say it is rusted and you are afraid to use it. Ask if you can return it for a refund. Then if they tell you no returns and don’t work with you contact Ebay, open an item not described claim and tell them nicely that you feel the item was misrepresented and if they don’t work with you you will have to leave neg. feedback. Most sellers are quite reasonable.
