Candle Making Problems?
I made candles today by melting down pre made candles. I poured them into their holders (shot glasses, tea cups, ect). Most of the candle tops were bumpy and not smooth. A few turned out perfect, but I was wondering if there was any way to make them smooth without completely re-melting them down (I made them into different colored layers). I thought maybe using a hair dryer to melt the top layer and then smooth it. I was wondering if there are any better, more efficient ways to do this?
Turn a cookie sheet over on a stove with a layer of foil wraped over it. Heat it just enough to lightly melt at touch. Place the candle top on the foil and spin it slowly a bit.
