Special Tea Shampoo

What to do about an itchy, dry, dandruffy scalp?
I’ve tried head and shoulders and selsun blue. I event tried using Paul Mitchell’s Special Tea Trea Oil Shampoo. It summer and it’s getting pretty bad. I’ve even went to the doctors and they prescribed me this solution to put on my scalp. I don’t think it’s working. What do you suggest I do about it?
Most people don’t know this, but dandruff (or “Dry Scalp”) is actually caused by inflammation due to excess oil on your scalp – not dry skin. The easiest way to get rid of this is to wash your hair twice each shower, and shower twice a day. This should help remove all of the excess skin/oil. You should also dry your hair thoroughly after each shower. If that doesn’t work, your dermatologist can prescribe a prescription strength shampoo.
