Small Tea Kettle

preparing loose-leaf tea?
when making tea with loose leaves and a kettle with a filter (tea that is not in a bag), what amount of leaves/herbs am i supposed to put into a small kettle that holds about 2 cups ?? like a tablespoon, or how many teaspoons?
remember that my pot only holds 2 cups. so maybe the rule of 1 extra teaspoon for the pot would be too much. considering it’s a small pot
Warm the pot first (hot water)
Place in the loose tea (one tea spoon per cup)
Pour in water
Stir
Leave until the infusion reaches the strength you prefer
