How to whisk matcha green tea without a “chasen”?

I can’t seem to make matcha tea with the same creamy green texture as people make it in traditional tea rooms.

It’s probably because I only have a normal kitchen whisk to mix it, which is too big. It’s make a clear liquid instead and much of the tea end up in the bottom of the cup.

Any advice as for what I can use to mix the tea to water if I don’t have the traditional japanese whisk called “chasen”?

Any other advice on how to make a proper matcha?

you can attempt using a blender (an imersion blender is best), its as far away from tradition as you can get but it will lead to frothier results thant the kitchen whisk
