Green Tea Leaves

My Little Sister Wants To Know If Green Tea Leaves Can Be Used As Soil/Fertilizer To Grow Plants?
I told her no, but she wont listen to me. She wants to know if you can cut a few tea bags open and use the leaves (damp) to plant flowers in a pot.
No, tea is too acidic for most plants, nor does it contain a broad range of nutrients or minerals. A few tea leaves will help an African violet, and certainly toss your tea bags around your Azaleas, Rhododendrons, and roses to help acidify the soil…but alas, no. It won’t work as a planting medium.
Wish it did the way I go through tea bags.
