Refresh pm or Thera tears liquid gel?
My eyes seem to dry out at night, leaving me with red eyes in the morning. I had a sticky eye problem that left me with glued eyelids and excess eye mucus but I don’t really have that problem anymore but sometimes I do get some sticky tears….which is better for nightime, an ointment like refresh pm or liquid gel drops like Thera tears liquid gel drops?….which is less crusting and less sticky?….does eye ointment go on the lashes and make them sticky or does it actually stay inside the eye the whole night?
Thera Tears is a good lubicant during the day time as it has no presertatives, bottle label with blue green background, it becomes presertative free on eye contact.
refresh Pm and Baush and Lomb for dry eye is good for night time. It does not go into the whole eye , it just covers the cornea, the surface of the eye. I used to use the lubricants in oinment at night for dry eye, now i don’t have dry eye anymore. I suggest you put the ointment on a clean finger ( meaning wash your hands) before touching your eye and put in the lower eye lid and then close your eye, it will be blurry though i did mine just before turning off the light. it really works. I would blink the eye when i put the ointment in the eye, then i knew the ointment was doing the work.
if the next day, your eye is a bit blurry, use a warm washcloth with warm water and gently wipe it away and use the thera Tears during the day time at least every 2 hours as needed.
