Best tasting hot/iced decaf. green tea?
1. What is the best tasting hot or iced decaf. green tea?
2. Where can I buy it (in stores or on internet) ?
3. What is the best way to prepare it ?
Currently my favorite is “Tazo Zen Green Tea and Herbal Fusion”, bought in a box of 20 individual packets at Kroger stores in southeastern USA. I use it for hot and iced teas, sweeten with powdered Stevia or honey.
I like the Republic of Tea’s decaf Wild Berry Plum tea. It can be bought from their website or at Cost Plus World Market.
For hot tea, pour a cup of almost-boiling water over the teabag, and brew for two minutes. Sweeten as desired, but it’s already got some sweetness to it.
For iced tea, brew three teabags in almost-boiling water for three minutes, then pour the tea into a pitcher full of cold water. Serve over ice. Sweeten as desired.
For supermarket tea, Salada makes a decent plain green decaf tea, and it’s naturally decaffeinated.
