Electric burner on stove…..?
I accidentally left a teapot on my stove longer than necessary and some of the paint on the bottom of the kettle burned onto the electric burner. I can’t figure out how to get it off. Any suggestions or ideas??? Thanks!
Heating elements on stoves are sort of generic when it comes to sizes… there’s big ones and small ones. They are readily available at any appliance part supply house. Look in phone book under “appliances – parts”… tell them the make and model of the stove, (usually printed on a plate inside the oven or broiler door, or sometimes underneath the top of the stove itself). (You can even just take the old one in to them for them to match). They probably can be replaced for less than $10… I would still try the “sanding method” 1st but it shouldn’t be too costly to fix if that doesn’t work.
