Finding A Low Oxidization Tea?
You may enjoy a cup of tea most days and you are one of many people around the world who join you and it is one of the most popular drinks in the world and it has been a popular drink for thousands of years.
Tea is normally purchased already prepared in one of two ways both as a sealed packet containing loose tea leaves or ready prepared in tea bags which keep all the tea leaves confined together.. To prepare a cup of tea the leaves or tea bags should be dropped into boiling water for however long you require the longer the length of time it is left the stronger the flavor you get from the tea.
There are many different types of tea and each type may be processed differently that enables you to differentiate between the flavors but it will also be affected by the region they come from as well as the type of plant from which it was derived.
There are several regions in Asia that have traditionally been the place where tea has been grown because the climate and the warm seasons are perfect for the growth of tea together with the areas being at higher altitudes which the tea plant is suited to.
China continues to be a huge supplier of tea to the world and they were the people who introduced tea to the world but as tea becomes ever more popular other countries around the world eager to grow tea plants to provide work and profits for their people who live in regions suitable for cultivation.
To classify which type of tea is which the type of process used decides which gives us just green, white, oolong and black as the four main types
there will be variations of flavor caused by the type of tea plant grown and the region of the world where it grew.
To produce the tea leaves we all know a selection of whole tea leaves from a specific region will be selected
the leaves will then be put through the oxidation processing method and the amount of oxidization determines which type of tea the final result will be.
When you look at tea in your local store you will see many varieties on sale though basically they are all of four distinct types and for the least amount of oxidation try white tea with green tea coming next on the list.
The last of the four are the oolong tea but if you are looking for the highest levels of oxidization go for the red or black tea which completes the list of the four types of tea that the tea manufacturers deal with by blending to make their own branded teas..
