Who can I ask to sponsor my daughter’s baseball team? We tried my hubby’s work etc?
We tried my hubby’s work, and all the local businesses that we patronize. All the sponsors are taken (it seems). We are new to the whole coaching game and we didn’ t know that we were supposed to get sponsors for the hats, equipment, trophys, end-of-season ice cream parties, etc. Anyone who has been through this let me know where I should look for sponsorship. It is a kindergarten baseball team, and we need about $200.00 to get what we want for the kids. Thanks for the info. P.S. The parents have paid their $30.00 for the kids membership and it is discouraged to ask them for any more money, so says the athletic director.
I went through the same thing when coaching my daughter’s soccer team. Start branching out to other local businesses that you don’t go to as often. Locally owned businesses are the best bet since there is usually a lot fewer layers of approvals required. Good luck in finding the sponsor you need, I feel for you.
