Brown Tea Kettle

Recipe instructions, tk of water?
I have an Alton Brown book called “I’m Just Here For More Food” and in the brownie recipe it calls for a ‘tk’ of water. You’re instructed to have this amount of water, boiling, to steep the cocoa powder in. I can’t find anywhere else in the book that uses this abbreviation/measurement and I don’t believe it to mean a “tea kettle”, which seems to be everyone’s guess. Does anyone else have this book and know what exactly it’s asking for?
Scientifically, Tk is the cooking temprature of water. However in cooking measurements it doesn’t mean anything. It seems like a typo.
Try foodnetwork.com. This site doesn’t mention anything like this & have the same recipe.
