Where in the DC Metro area can I host a bridal shower? There are details.?

Hosting a bridal shower for my best buddy, probably in March. There may be about 40 ladies (friends and family) who attend. She says she wants a girlie shower with tea and small hors d’ oeuvres. I was trying to look up private dining and tea rooms in DC so that maybe I could reserve early. Do you know of any in the DC Metropolitan area that aren’t too expensive. Meaning, no more than 12 bucks per person? Thanks

This question is near and dear to me-I collect tea items, tea magazines, etc I also had a tea shower-but I did it in my hometown. For my tea to cut down on costs I had tea sandwiches made from a local bakery (in different pastel colors), mini pastries (petit-fours, mini eclairs, etc) fruit, tea,
and a champagne punch-I used some of my grandmothers old china, punch bowl, linens, etc. I bought fresh flowers to decorate. I had a silver service set that I had collected.

I do not know of anything in this area that is that inexpensive. I have listed more expensive places,but I’ve also listed coffee houses that will cater and have additonal rooms,

Mayorga-I went to the one in Silver Spring-but I heard they moved-they have a seperate room for parties.
I suggest approaching a bakery about catering the pastries and sandwiches -and then possibly renting a place to hold it–someone’s club house (condo/apt), a room in a coffee house, cafes, etc
you can even rent high tea silver!!!
