Blue Tealight Candles

Found a blue baby bird egg on ground.How would I care for it?any links nothing expensive.Time??Thank You.?
I just found a light blue baby bird egg outside on the ground.I immediatly put gloves on and put it in an easter egg filled with toilet paper(was in a hurry)and now im confoosed on what to do.Where do I store it?Right now its in a platic easter egg with cotton inside next to a tealight candle…What should I do so it survives and hatches.and how long would it take for it to hatch?Any expierience will help.

I tried the water test and it sank but im discouraged from it I still belive it has a chance.If you can could someone explain the science involved with putting it in warm water…
Nevermind out of sorrow and not wanting it to suffer I dropped it in the garage it was just yoke no little bird not even fertilized or formed yet.Could it still have had a chance.Thanks
probably a robin egg, though a lot of eggs are bright blue.
If it was on the ground and left alone, it was probably for a reason. Parent birds know when an egg won’t hatch.
Eggs need constant specific humidty and temperature depending on the species. If you don’t know the species, you can’t do that. Too much or too little humidity will either dry out or drown the chick.
If you floated it in water- it is dead anyways- eggs can not go in water- water goes into the permeable shell and now the air sac is filled with water.
The only way to tell if an egg has a living being inside is to candle it- hold it up in front of a candle- if it has faint red lines (veins) pulsing all over the egg- it is viable.
