Candida – what can I eat?

I suspect to have a Candida infection and just read up about how to “cure” it. Apparently I should stop eating carbohydrates (or at least stick to a low-carb diet) completely avoid all sweetened foods, honey, fruit juices, dried and fresh fruit also milk and dairy products (with the exception of organic butter), because of their high content of the sugar lactose and antibiotic residues.

In addition, I am supposed to cut out all foods that contain yeast, or have been fermented or pickled, since these encourage the growth of Candida (yeast extract, stock cubes, most bread, alcoholic drinks, cheese, black tea, and anything containing vinegar).

You are allowed to eat plenty of salad, fish, poultry, meat and fresh vegetables (apart from the starchy ones like potatoes, parsnips and carrots). However I am a vegetarian which would only leave me with some vegetables.

Now what can I eat – as a vegetarian – that won’t feed the candida yeast infection?

Candidasis necessarily involves three major considerations:
Cutting the conditions for the growth of yeasts by the elimination of immunosuppressive drugs and antibiotics, and dietary deprivation of the candida of those foods on which it is nourished and flourishes. Destruction of yeast proliferation in the body. Rebalancing and strengthening of the body’s immune system for the restoration of proper function.

Candidiasis can be prevented by changing your diet. You must stop feeding the growth of Candida Albicans. The following steps should be considered:
Stop taking all immunosuppressive drugs and antibiotics.Use the garlic or Pau d’arco tea.Avoid all alcohol because it’s made of fermented and refined sugar. Avoid fruit juices and most fruit. Yeast is found in all manufactured citric acid and in most fruits; in ciders from such fruits as grapes, pears, apples, and some herbs.Avoid sugar and foods that contain simple carbohydrates including corn syrup, white flour, white rice and honey.
Some dietary supplements are also there for overcome the situation.
