Value of antique tea cart.?
I purchased an old tea cart at a storage sale. It is a 2 tier, (top tier mirrored glass- bottom tier glass) brass rolling cart with 4 small wheels. It has ball and claw legs. There was a name written in black marker on the under side “OTTESTAD’S” and the numbers 56220330 written with an engraving pen. Any thoughts on what this is and where it came from?
I think you could contact my friend Joseph O’Kelly here in London. He is seriously expert on all things like this. I recently had the fun of watching him on TV, he was on the Antiques Roadshow to correct the valuation by experts on a Tea Caddy that was actually a fake!
